What's the difference between 179135 and 179136?
Capacity. The 179135 is for the 420 sq ft system (105 sq ft per cartridge); the 179136 is for the 520 sq ft system (130 sq ft per cartridge). The 520 cartridges are physically longer and won't fit a 420 tank.
How often should these be replaced?
Clean every 4–6 weeks depending on use, and replace roughly every 1–2 seasons — or sooner if the pleats are matted, torn, or the pressure climbs quickly after cleaning.
