The Pentair 474065 Tube Sheet Coil Assembly Kit is the genuine OEM cupro-nickel HD Series heat exchanger for 400,000 BTU MasterTemp and Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm heaters built after 1/12/2009. Cupro-nickel resists the aggressive water chemistry that shortens the life of a standard copper exchanger.

This kit fits 400HDNA and 400HD-LP models built after 1/12/09 (new tub design). It is the heavy-duty cupro-nickel version. If your heater is a standard 400NA or 400LP, the copper kit 474061 is the correct part. For heaters built before 1/12/09, see 77707-0244 (cupro-nickel) or 77707-0234 (copper).
