What's the difference between the 620424 and the white MicroBrite models?
The 620424 is the color-changing model (5 fixed colors + 7 color shows). The white MicroBrite lights (620429, 620430) produce bright white-only illumination. This one has a 50-foot cord.
Do I need a controller to change colors?
The color shows and fixed colors are built into the light and can be toggled by power cycling, but the Pentair Color Sync™ Controller (618031) or a Pentair automation system makes switching and scheduling much easier.
Can it be used in a saltwater pool?
Yes. It's UL Listed for use in fresh water with up to 6,000 ppm salinity, which covers typical residential salt pools.
